Join us for the 2nd Annual United Strength Goat Hunt!

For the United Strength team, the gym is not only a place to stay fit and healthy but a place to meet new people and make new friends. The power of the gym has always been clear – bringing together people that may not have otherwise met. People of different nationalities, on different life paths and from all walks of life brought together by that common goal of self-betterment.

With that in mind, we would like to invite you, your friends and your family (this one’s probably best for the adults) to our 2nd Annual United Strength Goat Hunt!

This is what we have planned:

  • Step 1:
Everyone meets and entry fees are put into the community drinking pot.
  • Step 2:
Names are drawn from a hat, with a goat and shepherd being selected (costumes mandatory).
  • Step 3:
The goat and shepherd are given the money from the community drinking pot.
  • Step 4:
The goat and shepherd have 30 minutes to pick one pub within a designated area where they will spend their afternoon/evening drinking with everyone else’s money.
  • Step 5:
Once the goat and shepherd leaves, everyone else separates into teams.
  • Step 6:
The teams depart 30 minutes after the goat and shepherd to hunt them down by going pub to pub.

The Rules:

  • The goat and shepherd cannot move once they select a pub.
  • If your team finds the goat and shepherd, you also get to start drinking with everyone else money until it runs out.
  • If you get to a pub and the goat and shepherd are not there, you must order and finish a drink before moving onto the next pub.
  • You may not text or communicate to other teams saying where you are going next.
  • You may not text or communicate to other teams saying if you found the goat and shepherd.
  • You may not text or communicate to other teams saying that you visited a pub, and the goat and shepherd are not there and that you are leaving.
  • If the goat and shepherd are asked why they are dressed like a goat or a shepherd, they must respond as if they have no idea what they are talking about.

We cannot wait to get to know you all further and we hope you will join us on August 27th. Please let us know if you will be attending and if you will be bringing friends or family with you – they are all welcome!
